NVU Update v0.8.1

NVU has been updated to v0.8.1. This updated brings back the Help Contents menu entry and fixes a critical issue which broke most HTML4 pages. The release notes and download links are available here. NVU is a cross-platform (Mac, Windows, Linux, Linspire) and easy-to-use Web Authoring System built to rival other programs like Dreamweaver and FrontPage.

    I have both NVU and Taco HTML Edit on my Mac and I prefer Taco HTML - it has a more straightforward interface, to my mind.

    Having said that, I am not a developer and so do not 90% of the functionality of either app.

    I do agree that Taco is a slightly better app, as far writing HTML with a text-editor goes, but the fact that NVU is cross-platform, fully wysiwyg, has a file uploader/site manager, and is maturing at a fast rate, leads me to favor it over Taco.
