Backup Your Mac

It may not be necessary to regularly backup your Mac, but it sure is nice to have a current backup lying around. Remember, a good backup will only take an hour (avg.) to restore, but a computer without a backup will take anywhere from a day to a week to restore from scratch. Don’t assume that you’ll never need to restore your computer. Matthew Phillips’ tutorial, Backup Your Mac With rsync, is a detailed tutorial on how to quickly and easily backup your Mac using only Disk Utility and the free utility, RsyncX. Enjoy!

Thanks go to Tom for originally discovering the tutorial.
