RSSOwl Update v1.1

RSSOwl has been updated to v1.1. This is a major update which fixes several bugs, greatly improves stability, and adds several new features. The release notes are available here. RSSOwl is a free, open-source, and cross-platform RSS/Atom feed reader.

Library Update: 1st Quarter 2005

I have decided to conduct my Library updates in a quarterly fashion. This catalogue of my library is technically complete, but I’m always purchasing new books. If you would like to trade or purchase, please contact me, and we’ll work something out. Current library stats:

Active Plugins

I have received quite a few inquiries about my active plugins. First, let me say that I have seen some blogs with as much as fifty active plugins. Compared to that, I prefer to keep a very minimal list.

Symantec Spreads Fear of Mac Viruses

Symantec is spreading fear once again and “warning that Apple’s OS X operating system is increasingly becoming a target for hackers and malware authors.” The entire article is highly exaggerated and bears the horrible “What if?” stench. If we were this concerned about “What if?”, we’d be living in permanent bomb shelters right [...]
