Tiger: A Mac-Like WordPress Admin Theme

After working with WordPress for several months now, I felt the Administration area needed a little “freshening up.” I wanted the utility to feel more like an application, and less like a traditional website. So I pulled some inspiration from my newly installed OS X Tiger, and created a mockup with Fireworks. I knew from the beginning that I didn’t want to touch the XHTML of the Administration, just the CSS file, and adding a few images.

Steve Smith’s Tiger is truly a Mac-like WordPress Admin/User Interface. Unfortunately, you can’t active or de-active Tiger as a plugin, like you can with SpotPress, but it is very easy to install. If changing your WordPress Admin/User Interface is of interested to you, you can find more Admin Themes in the Codex list of WordPress Admin Themes.
