New .Mac Features
MacMerc has announced the launch of a re-vamped .Mac service.
.Mac has come out from the darkness with 1GB of storage (2GB in a Family Pack). All that space would make a handy place to back up your files and Apple has also posted an updated to its Backup utility. Its got one-step iLife backups, Spotlight integration, schedules and ways to share files automatically between all your Macs.
A new “.Mac Groups” feature has also been added to the list of new features.
Now you can extend your .Mac experience to your team, club, class, or family. Create a group, complete with email address, home page, calendar, and more and invite anyone to join.
Finally, .Mac’s $99.95 price stamp is beginning to make sense. To sweeten the deal, there is a new family pack available with one master account and four sub-accounts for only $179.95.
