I would like to say a brief “thank you” to those of you who have been following these monthly favored freeware update posts. Many things have changed on this blog in the last year, and not all of them were for the best. I will be no longer be posting the monthly favored freeware updates, in hopes that I can find the desire to fill this blog with more relevant and less repetitive content.

Many applications and widgets now come with their own automatic update systems, and you can keep track of the rest with two of my favorite free widgets, App Update and Widget Update. If you’d rather continue to track the latest versions of your favorite applications online, I Use This is a relatively new startup that’s already making some big waves in the online application-tracking industry.
